This website is a visual diary of the last 10 years of my life... Ok , perhaps not everything that has happened (there are some things you really don’t want to see, believe me!)
but certainly a reflection on what is important to me.
To be ‘out there’ is vital for my existence in this mad bad world. I like to look, absorb
and create. So photography has become as vital as my walking boots.
Landscape... I love the hills; the shifting light, to capture this transition that
is a fleeting moment gives me as much pleasure as being there in the first place.
Other images on this page were either taken at dusk or by the light of the moon.
Watching day become night is something that I never tire of (pardon the pun),
it’s a magic time. When most photographers call it a day, this is when I start.
Travels... It’s a collection of meetings and places. Of the abstract patterns in nature
and brief encounters that have either filled my heart with joy or shocked me into a more humble being.
The images shown are a brief window into that life on the road.
